Fresh in from the carvers of Nigeria...we are busy staining these primitive carvings.
They are great altar pieces that  have a bowl on top that will hold a hand of Orunmila...as well as offerings.
The stain color choices are Ebony and Chestnut...please specify.  There are slits in the wood created from the curing process.  They are carved wet and shipped directly to us.  As the wood dries it gets some fractures.

They look like they are meant to be...part of the primitive quality.
