This Initiation process allows the potent energy of your chosen Orisa to enter your head in a profound and meaningful fashion. It is a very important component to being whole and balanced for the rest of your life. There is a real self-empowerment action that takes place along with an alignment of who you truly are and how you filter the Universe.

Once Initiated, you will be trained to access the Divination Tool of “Reading the Cowries Shells” for yourself as well as others, in time. A true form of empowerment!

You would make plans to spend 3 to 4 days at the Ola Olu Retreat…where you would living in the treehouse style stilt-house overlooking Lake Ola Olu. You will living nestled into the Sacred Orisa Gardens and have access the whole time you are there. You will be able to commune with nature while living comfortably in a very nurturing environment. Between the Ceremonies and the time periods we are there teaching you…you would be free to walk the grounds…enjoying the paths through the woods and seeing wildlife that most never get to experience. You can feel at peace sitting out on the dock that overlooks a private lake filled with flowering lilies, Herons, turtles…and who knows what else!

We bring all that it takes to make this the most beautiful and enjoyable experience of your life.

Beginning with a deep shedding ceremony which empties out the old negative experiences you have carried… allowing room for all the new and fresh positive energy to enter. Ceremonies to Esu and the Ancestors are also done to align all the energies properly.

You should plan to arrive with the proper stones and container for your Orisa, we do the rest. A study notebook, filled with teaching material, is given to you upon your arrival… allowing you to begin with some important journaling and reading.

The Orisa Initiation plants the seed for your growth. The Ceremonies bring that unique combination together that opens the doors which allows you access to the deepest of your energy connections. It is a place to begin anew.

On the third day, the most important reading of your life is divined for you. IT IS YOUR LIFE PATH READING. This is valuable information about what the Universe is bringing you to life by…information you will think about daily.

We discuss how to work “with your path”… bringing the best quality to your life! We teach you throughout the time you are with us as well as years afterwards. We support you through the journey of growth. We look long term…not about just that short time period you are physically with us…but for the times whenever you need us to be there for guidance and support. We are still in communication with our very first Initiate from almost 20 years ago. Of course her life has changed…she is happily married with two sweet daughters… and still divines and practices Ifa in her daily life…only now her family is included.

We will also teach you how to perform certain Ebbos and what to do to handle certain types of situations. There will be a lot of “hands on” study time with Oluwo Philip and Iyanifa Vassa, allowing access to their many years of growing in this path. After you leave the retreat you will have special access to the Ifa College Initiates section, enabling you to gain more wisdom and knowledge as well as a connection to the other Initiates. You can openly ask questions and bounce out different situations whenever you desire.
