I am also glad that Ifa foundation is taking the leadership to advance the doctrine of Ifa practice. Just because it started in Nigeria do not mean it has to stop there nor should it mean an indefinite stagnation of this practice for progress.

Like anything else in life that has to survive, there should always be a defined growth. A growth of the practice in a Newness of it's form while still retaining it's native lineage of world view. Ifa foundation has all the needed requirements, skills and the knowledge to usher Ifa into the new century, in alignment with today's new world order but not in dichotomy from the original intents of the natives of the ancient days.

After all, the spiritual endowment and empowerment has been pass on to us for perpetuation. By continuation of tending the lifted lighted torch of Ifa doctrine and practices. Very good and am proud of both of you and Ifa foundation as a separate entity, self defined..( The essence of any living spiritual practices is defined by it's group Egregore, be it positively or negatively defined from a profane point of view or the un-initiated).

I am all for advancement, changes, and practical progress that's forth coming. Now we know that the world is round and not flat, thanks to one courageous individual with a pioneering spirit.

I just finish to do my prayers for today, and also the Ebbo for this week  to my ancestors.
This ritual was the first time for me to work with my Ancestors and it was wonderfull for me to do.  I am learining so much from you. Thank you for  all the help.

Dear Reader,
This letter is much more than a testimonial about the power of Ifa and the ceremonies provided in the context of this religion. This letter is about the true transformation that I am experiencing from the inside out!
When my mother recommended that I call Phil and Vassa to look into having some spiritual work done; I heard what she was saying but I was not ready to listen. I chose to go about my life taking my medication to control anxiety each morning, suffering from the self-inflicted pain of loneliness (even though I was supposedly in a relationship), and cheating myself out of what could have been a tremendous life at the time.
About seven years prior to my contact with Ifa I had somehow walked into a sad, depressing stage of life and just flat out chose to stay there. Intellectually I knew something had to be done or things were going to get worse, but spiritually I was STUCK. So many defeating thoughts ran through my mind: “Why am I here? What’s the use? Am I making any difference to anyone? Is this how life is supposed to be? During that time I was living in my head instead of living from my heart. I even opted to remain in a verbally abusive relationship because I was just plain shocked and thrilled to have someone interested enough to stick around for a while. My self-esteem and interest in life was at an all time low. By the time I began corresponding with Vassa and preparing for my ORI and cleansing ceremony, I was hoping against hope that everything I had read about the power of IFA was real and there could be some relieve found for a life that had a dark cloud hanging over it. I was afraid to be excited about the ceremonies because I did not want to be let down. I had tried everything from going to psychics and various churches to find answers for my life to isolating myself for days on end “reflecting!” with the hope that answers would come to me somehow. They never did. I now completely understand that me energy was off balance and it was not something I could “fix” on my own.

I participated in two powerful ceremonies facilitated by Phil and Vassa. There was a tremendous amount of energy released in each ceremony- so much so that I slept for nearly 3 days after the energy work was performed. I didn’t know what to expect as a flew back home to the Midwest. Change started to sweep through my life almost immediately. I walked out of that pathetic excuse for a relationship and bought my first home within 3 months of the ceremony. As if the liberation from that abusive relationship and enjoying a new home was not enough joy and sweetness in my life- 1 month later a wonderful man just dropped from the sky. I’d never met anyone like him. He was kind, gentle, spiritual through and through and…tall, dark, and handsome. My energy level and confidence continues to increase each day as I work with my ORI and learn more about IFA. My career is taking off like a rocket. I have completed two books that are ready for publication and I recently found some beautiful office space down town and will no longer be working from home.

I still pinch myself and stand back and ask “is it real?” It is very very real. There is power in working with the information found in the teachings of IFA. I would encourage anyone to investigate, participate and then step back and receive the actual positive proof that this religion offers. You owe it to yourself and you owe it to God to be the best person you can be- have the best life you can have! IFA can help you get there!
